FibroBiologics is a clinical-stage cell therapy company focused on developing and commercializing fibroblast-based treatments for patients with chronic diseases having severe unmet medical needs, including degenerative disc disease, multiple sclerosis, wound healing, and certain cancers. It also includes life-extending applications such as thymus regeneration reversal and spleen regeneration reversal. Currently, FibroBiologics' innovative manufacturing process involves collecting excess tissue from surgical procedures, followed by using allogeneic fibroblasts to establish a cell bank for the company’s therapeutic processes. FibroBiologics’ most advanced product candidates include CybroCell™ and CYMS101. CybroCell™ is an allogeneic fibroblast therapy designed as an alternative method to repair intervertebral discs (or any other articular cartilage) for treating degenerative disc disease. FibroBiologics is also developing CYMS101, an allogeneic fibroblast therapy for treating multiple sclerosis.
