Minimally Invasive Medical Device R&D and Manufacturer

Basic Information

Micro-Tech Group was founded in 2000. The company is mainly engaged in the research and development, manufacturing, and sales of minimally invasive medical devices. Adhering to the mission of "serving clinical needs with technology and innovation," it is committed to providing high-quality products and services to medical institutions worldwide, helping improve healthcare standards globally, alleviating patient suffering, and reducing medical costs. After nearly 20 years of innovative development, the company has evolved from a single non-vascular stent product to three major technological platforms, and from focusing primarily on the domestic market to being driven by both domestic and international markets. It has become an industry-leading company in the field of minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment, possessing strong scientific research innovation capabilities and competitive core products, with rapidly growing performance. The company’s scientific research and innovation capabilities have received authoritative recognition. The National Science and Technology Awards are the highest national science and technology honors approved by the State Council. The company has won two second prizes for National Science and Technology Progress Awards, while its subsidiary's researchers have received one second prize for the National Technology Invention Award, making it one of the few companies in the industry to receive multiple national-level science and technology awards. Additionally, the company has undertaken three national-level scientific research projects, owns 36 domestic and international invention patents, and has obtained 28 Class III medical device registration certificates and 45 Class II medical device registration certificates. It has successively been awarded titles such as a key high-tech enterprise under the National Torch Program, a science and technology SME in Jiangsu Province, a key R&D institution in Jiangsu Province, and a private science and technology enterprise in Jiangsu Province. The company’s core products have competitive advantages. Its main products include two major series: endoscopic minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic devices and tumor ablation equipment. The company’s newly developed Endoscopic Optical Coherence Tomography system (EOCT) has already been applied to the clinical diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal and respiratory diseases through its endoscopic minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic devices, which consist of six sub-series products that provide systematic solutions for endoscopic diagnosis and treatment. Among these, the stent technology carrying 125I radioactive seeds has been recognized as a world-first; the tumor ablation equipment is mainly used for precise microwave ablation of tumors and has become one of the mainstream methods for liver cancer treatment; EOCT is mainly used in conjunction with endoscopes for early cancer screening and surgical planning, and is expected to develop into a primary method for "non-invasive optical biopsy." Dual drivers of domestic and international markets propel the company's growth. In the domestic market, the company's endoscopic diagnostic and therapeutic technology products have played a strong role in import substitution, effectively reducing endoscopic diagnostic and treatment costs and easing the burden on patients. The company’s products are sold to more than 2,900 hospitals across China, achieving a coverage rate of over 55% in tertiary hospitals. In the international market, the company has subsidiaries in the United States and Germany, with multiple products approved by the U.S. FDA and EU CE certification. Products are exported to more than 70 countries and regions, including developed nations like the United States, Germany, Canada, and Japan. The company’s performance has grown rapidly. From 2016 to 2018, the company’s annual compound growth rate of sales revenue far exceeded the industry average. To maintain continuous growth, the company strategically developed the EOCT system, which features cutting-edge technology and is the second product globally to receive U.S. FDA approval. Clinical research is currently underway at institutions such as the Mayo Clinic and Stanford University Medical Center in the U.S., representing an important growth point for the company’s future business. Moving forward, the company will continue to focus on the core capability of transforming medical innovations into results, further strengthening its existing three product lines, and opportunistically entering new fields of minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment in the future, striving to become a global leader in the field of minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment.
