TargED Biopharmaceuticals

TargED Biopharmaceuticals is a biotechnology company dedicated to developing first-class biologics to improve the treatment of thrombosis. TargED stands for Targeted Enzyme Delivery, and the company's biologics are unique in that they use small antibodies ("VhH") to deliver enzymes to the site of thrombosis, enabling "targeted" thrombolysis. The lead compound is Microlyse, which is currently being developed for Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP) and Acute Ischemic Stroke (AIS). The goal is to accelerate thrombolysis for all forms of thrombosis, regardless of clot composition.
