Respira Labs is building an AI-driven sensor platform to track, predict, and prevent chronic lung diseases. The company is developing the first wearable device to measure "trapped air," an early marker of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Currently, there is no reliable and validated method for timely detection of COPD exacerbations to enable early intervention and prevention. By leveraging the power of non-invasive acoustic sensors, audio signal processing, machine learning, and Acoustic Resonance Index Analysis (ARIA), our device will fundamentally transform COPD management by predicting and preventing attacks in patients' homes, significantly improving health outcomes and quality of life while substantially reducing healthcare costs.
