Methodist Health System: In 1927, it was just a non-profit community hospital founded by Methodist ministers and civic leaders, located in the center of an underserved urban community. Today, Methodist Health System encompasses 45 healthcare facilities, including over 40 Methodist Family Health Centers and medical groups, as well as other specialty clinics. Its service area extends from Mansfield to Waxahachie and up to McKinney, covering a population of more than one million.
