GEM Italy is an Italian company that produces and distributes medical devices. It was founded in 1994 with the aim of commercializing surgical instruments with new formulations. In 1995, Glubran adhesive was introduced for surgical procedures. Shortly after, the second generation, Glubran 2, was developed, allowing its use in endovascular surgeries due to its new formulation. In 1998, both products obtained CE certification for internal and external surgical use. Currently, Glubran 2 is being produced and has gained popularity among users for its diverse and heterogeneous indications. Over these eleven years, the company has designed and manufactured various glue applicators to facilitate and improve the use of the adhesive. In 2007, Glubran Tiss, a surgical glue for skin application, was launched. Today, Glubran 2, Glubran Tiss, and related devices are sold in more than 40 countries worldwide. Continuous research forms the foundation of our work, aiming to develop innovative surgical medical devices to anticipate increasingly complex market demands.
