Annovis Bio

Annovis Bio is a specialty pharmaceutical company developing novel therapies for Alzheimer's disease (AD), Parkinson's disease (PD), and other neurodegenerative diseases. Our lead candidate drug, ANVS401, simultaneously inhibits the production of multiple neurotoxic brain proteins that have been shown to impair axonal transport and lead to neuronal cell death. Specifically, it inhibits the synthesis of amyloid precursor protein (APP), Tau, and α-synuclein. It differs from other AD drugs currently under development because, unlike many others that attempt to remove one toxic protein, ANVS401 inhibits toxic proteins before they form and suppresses all major neurotoxic proteins responsible for AD and PD.
