Tenon Medical, Inc. is a medical device company established in 2012 that has developed a surgical implant system designed to optimize sacroiliac joint (“SI-Joint”) fixation/fusion procedures and corresponding outcomes. Tenon is preparing to launch this system across China to address the significant underserved market opportunity in this field. We estimate that more than 30 million American adults suffer from chronic lower back pain. Published clinical studies have shown that 15% to 30% of chronic lower back pain is associated with the sacroiliac joint. For patients with chronic lower back pain caused by the SI-Joint, our experience in clinical trials and commercial settings indicates that the system introduced by Tenon may benefit those patients who are correctly diagnosed and screened by trained healthcare providers.
