OncoPep, Inc. was founded in 2010 with the aim of commercializing a new approach to developing targeted immunotherapies for cancer. The company's proprietary core technology was developed in the laboratory of Dr. Kenneth Anderson, a world leader in the field of cancer therapeutics at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. By utilizing investigational peptide vaccines and multi-tumor antigen adoptive (MTAA) T-cell therapy to target multiple tumor-associated antigens, OncoPep’s T-cell-focused technology is designed for use either alone or in combination with other immunotherapies. OncoPep’s technology, exclusively licensed from Dana-Farber, employs a unique combination of proprietary peptides to form therapeutic cancer vaccines. Beyond smoldering multiple myeloma (SMM), the peptide portfolio also broadly targets multiple myeloma, triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), and several solid tumor cancers (breast, colon, pancreatic, and prostate cancers).
