Calico is a research and development company whose mission is to harness advanced technologies to deepen our understanding of the biology that governs lifespan. We will use this knowledge to design interventions that enable people to live longer and healthier lives. We are discovering new targets and developing first-in-class therapies for age-related diseases. We are translating this research into first-in-class compounds aimed at diseases commonly associated with aging, with the goal of not only extending lifespan but also enhancing healthspan. Our approach has already yielded a portfolio of more than 20 early- and late-stage preclinical compounds targeting cancer, neurological disorders, as well as tissue homeostasis and repair.
