Ocumension

Since 2021, Ocumension Therapeutics has frequently delivered satisfactory results in terms of product pipeline progress and commercialization. To date, Ocumension has acquired a portfolio of 20 drug assets covering anterior and posterior segments of the eye, establishing a complete ophthalmic drug product line. Among these, six products have entered Phase III clinical trials, two have moved into real-world studies, showcasing a clear gradient in product clinical progress. The New Drug Application (NDA) for its core product, OT-401 (Fluocinolone Acetonide Intravitreal Implant), has been accepted by the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE). Additionally, Ocumension has reached a product acquisition agreement with Novartis to acquire all rights to two ophthalmic drugs, Emadine® and Betoptic® S, in mainland China, along with the transfer of corresponding production technology. This acquisition is expected to enhance Ocumension’s R&D and production capabilities across the industry, laying the foundation for the future production and export of other products.
