APRILBIO is a company that develops innovative biologics using a long-acting protein drug platform technology. AprilBio's APB-R3 is a drug that combines SAFA with IL-18BP (binding protein) and is currently being developed for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and rheumatoid arthritis. APB-R3 binds to IL-18 and inhibits INF-γ, an inflammatory cytokine, to reduce immune response and treat inflammatory diseases.
