Verismo Therapeutics

Verismo Therapeutics has developed a novel chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) to enhance T cell-based cancer immunotherapy. Verismo's cell therapy, known as KIR-CAR, aims to provide "natural stimulation" to T cells without triggering T cell exhaustion for the treatment of solid tumors. The core technology of Verismo Therapeutics is built on CARs that are uniquely engineered to more accurately reflect the natural multi-chain design of killer immunoglobulin-like receptors (KIR), an important family of immune receptors used by T cells and NK cells.
