Basic Information

Kintor was founded in 2009, focusing on the research and development as well as industrialization of potential "best-in-class" and "first-in-class" innovative drugs, aiming to become a leading enterprise in the research, development, and commercialization of innovative therapies. On May 22, 2020, Kintor officially listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (Stock Code: 9939.HK). After years of development, with androgen receptor (AR) and tumor-related diseases at its core, the company has developed a multi-channel product portfolio. Its products cover high-incidence cancers globally and other disease areas with unmet clinical needs, including COVID-19, prostate cancer, breast cancer, liver cancer, alopecia, and acne. Kintor has proactively laid out a diversified product pipeline including small molecule innovative drugs, biologic innovative drugs, and combination therapies, comprising seven new drug projects currently undergoing clinical trials — two androgen receptor (AR) antagonists, an ALK-1 antibody, an mTOR kinase-targeted inhibitor, a Hedgehog/SMO inhibitor, an AR-PROTAC compound, and a PD-L1/TGF-β dual-target antibody, as well as preclinical research for an ALK-1/VEGF dual-target antibody and a c-Myc inhibitor. The company owns over 80 patents granted or pending worldwide, with multiple projects listed under China’s Twelfth and Thirteenth Five-Year Plan “Major New Drug Creation” initiatives. The management team has extensive experience in new drug R&D and management, having held important leadership positions such as R&D and operations management in top pharmaceutical companies. Under the leadership of the company’s founder, Kintor has gathered a group of outstanding experts from home and abroad, possessing rich industry experience in drug development, pharmacology and efficacy studies, pharmaceutical research, immunology R&D, clinical research, production, and commercialization from leading multinational pharmaceutical companies. The company's main product, Proxalutamide, is conducting clinical trials simultaneously in China and the U.S., with two Phase III clinical studies ongoing in China for second-line and first-line treatments of mCRPC, and a Phase II clinical trial ongoing in the U.S. For treating androgenetic alopecia, Furilazole is undergoing Phase II clinical trials in China; the ALK-1 antibody is being tested in a Phase II clinical trial in Taiwan in combination with PD-1 (Nivolumab) for liver cancer treatment.
