USUN BIO was founded in 2011 by Professor Bengt Samuelsson, a Nobel Prize winner, Professor Jan-Christer Janson, recipient of the China International Science and Technology Cooperation Award, and Dr. Ming Gu. As the first company in the world to formally apply mussel adhesive protein in the medical field, USUN BIO is committed to the development of macromolecular original raw materials centered on this protein and the innovation of "medical device-cosmetic" products, building a full industrial chain from laboratory research and development to market commercialization. To better focus on its core business, the company spun off its innovative drug business to Aitiya (Shanghai) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in 2021.
