Suzhou Vigonvita Life Sciences Co., Ltd. ("Vigonvita") was established in January 2013 as an innovation-driven biopharmaceutical company dedicated to addressing clinical needs in the treatment of neurological, psychiatric, and infectious diseases. Vigonvita has assembled a highly experienced technical team in drug development, with master's and doctoral degree holders accounting for 45%. It possesses a complete innovative drug R&D system capable of independently completing all stages from candidate compound discovery and confirmation, preclinical research, clinical research, to new drug launch. VV116 (Mindvy®) was approved for marketing in Uzbekistan on December 28, 2021, becoming the world’s first drug proven in clinical trials to significantly reduce the risk of progression to critical conditions or death in hospitalized patients with mild or severe COVID-19. VV116 (Mindevi®) received conditional approval from China’s National Medical Products Administration on January 28, 2023, for the treatment of mild to moderate adult patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection. TPN171 is a highly selective and potent phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. TPN171 (Onvita®) was approved for marketing in Uzbekistan on September 20, 2022, for the treatment of male erectile dysfunction (ED). The ED indication of TPN171 has completed Phase III clinical trials in China, and its New Drug Application (NDA) has been accepted by the National Medical Products Administration. The pulmonary arterial hypertension indication of TPN171 is currently in Phase II clinical trials in China. After years of accumulation, Vigonvita has filed over 110 patent applications for inventions and currently holds 54 authorized invention patents. It has undertaken several national and provincial-level fund projects and has received honors such as "National High-tech Enterprise," "Gusu Leading Talent of Suzhou City," "Leading Talent Enterprise of Suzhou Industrial Park," and "Jiangsu Province Science and Technology SME."
