DL ADV-Tech is developing a single-atom nanozyme-enhanced handheld biosensor for measuring pesticide exposure. People may be exposed to pesticides through various occupational and environmental pathways, which can have many negative health effects. Measuring chemical exposure in the human body provides the most accurate estimation of an individual’s true exposure level. DL ADV-Tech proposes developing an ultrasensitive, portable, inexpensive, and precise sensor platform capable of non-invasively quantifying personal pesticide exposure using urine as the relevant biofluid.
