inTRAvent Medical Partners LP, established in 2015, is a private medical device company dedicated to bringing intraoperative imaging and navigation to the bedside to improve neurosurgical procedures. The company’s first product is the FDA-approved SOLOPASS® system, designed to assist in the accurate placement of ventricular catheters, aiming to provide imaging and guidance to enhance one of the most common life-saving procedures in neurocritical care. The concept for SOLOPASS® was developed by Sprague W. Hazard III, M.D., at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, enabling caregivers to visualize the deep ventricular system of the brain for precise planning and guidance.
