Blade is a technology-powered global air transportation platform. Founded in 2014, we provide consumers with a cost-effective and time-efficient alternative to congested ground transportation routes through our helicopter, amphibious seaplane, and fixed-wing transport services, primarily in the northeastern United States and within India. Blade's platform operates on a technology-driven, asset-light business model with strong brand recognition. Our asset-light business model means that Blade neither owns nor operates any aircraft. Instead, our network of operator partners provides aircraft, pilots, maintenance, insurance, and fuel, while we focus on what we do best: booking and aggregating flights through our mobile app, website, and pilot relations team, offering cost-effective aviation alternatives for some of the most congested ground routes in the U.S. and India.
