Teatis was founded in stealth mode by Takatoh in 2017 as a developer of low-sugar superfood powders for people with diabetes. The majority of our consumers (approximately 88%) are individuals with diabetes, and our formulations are designed to help them manage their blood sugar levels. The number of people with diabetes in the United States is staggering, and there is significant demand for nutritious, convenient, and functional diabetes-friendly foods. Teatis has developed a supplement for all consumers interested in low-sugar food options as well as for those with prediabetes. Teatis' plant-based powders contain no chemicals or sweeteners but include a unique ingredient, such as brown seaweed extract (Arame), which has been proven to inhibit intestinal sugar absorption and reduce blood sugar levels.
