contextflow was founded in 2016 by CEO Markus Holzer of the Medical University of Vienna (MUW). It develops deep learning-based software to improve radiology workflows, save radiologists time, and enhance report quality. Its core technology is a 3D image-based search engine that detects disease patterns in 3D medical images such as CT and MRI scans. Currently, the system is used by radiologists for lung CTs to identify 19 different patterns (including those associated with COVID-19), making it the only clinical decision support system of its kind.
