Basic Information
Cognoa, headquartered in Palo Alto, the heart of Silicon Valley, is the world's first company dedicated to applying machine learning to the early screening of autism in children. Cognoa's founding team consists of "professors focused on academia and executives with years of business experience," lending professionalism and credibility to Cognoa's products. Cognoa has greatly simplified the process for parents, who only need to download the app from the app store, fill in their child’s basic information, and answer 15 to 20 questions related to their behavior based on the child's specific situation. The system then automatically generates a screening plan. While Cognoa’s screening process appears simple, it is both methodologically reliable and accurate in its results, thanks to the integration of authoritative medical research and cutting-edge AI technology. During its establishment, Cognoa’s team tracked over 100,000 autistic children at Harvard Medical School and Stanford Medical School. By aggregating clinical research data into a vast database, Cognoa utilized machines to learn from massive amounts of medical data, developing a unique algorithm—when users input behavioral information about children into the app, the system derives corresponding screening conclusions based on the established algorithm.
