Small Nucleic Acid Drug Developer

Basic Information

Ribo was founded in 2007 as an innovative R&D company dedicated to developing RNA interference (RNAi) drugs and is a major pioneer in China’s small nucleic acid technology and small nucleic acid pharmaceutical industry. The company’s research and development team consists of international experts with extensive experience in RNAi technology, drug discovery, and development. Headquartered in Kunshan, Jiangsu, the company has established R&D centers in Beijing and Gothenburg, Sweden. Ribo aligns itself with the cutting-edge innovation of international small nucleic acid technology, focusing on iterative R&D of small nucleic acid chemical modifications and drug delivery technologies. It has built an independent, fully integrated small nucleic acid drug R&D platform that supports the entire lifecycle of small nucleic acid drugs from early-stage R&D to industrialization. Its self-developed GalNAc small nucleic acid drug delivery technology platform, RIBO-GalSTARTM, boasts internationally competitive features such as highly specific liver targeting, high efficiency, and long-lasting effects. Ribo is committed to rapidly advancing its small nucleic acid drug products into the international market, aiming to develop the best-in-class RNAi therapeutic drugs within the industry. Currently, the company has entered the rapid development phase for various small nucleic acid drugs, with eight clinical-stage candidates, five of which are based on the RIBO-GalSTARTM technology. Ribo has established a significant intellectual property portfolio, including patents and technical know-how related to RNAi technology and its products, forming a comprehensive intellectual property protection system and earning widespread recognition in the industry. Cooperation for mutual benefit is one of Ribo's key strategies. We look forward to accelerating project development through partnerships globally or regionally, achieving the goal of bringing innovative therapies to patients as soon as possible, and jointly writing a new chapter in the future development of the RNAi therapeutic drug market.
