Vensica Medical is a medical device company designing and developing ultrasound catheters for the treatment of bladder cancer. Currently, after surgically removing tumors found in the bladder, medication is dripped into the bladder through a catheter. However, this treatment method is inefficient, has poor results, and bladder cancer has the highest recurrence rate (70%) among all types of cancers. Using Vensica's device, after delivering ultrasound to the bladder, the drug will be administered through a rapid and painless procedure. Ultrasound can enhance the absorption of the drug and its penetration into the bladder wall, which is expected to improve treatment outcomes and reduce recurrence rates.
