CoRISMA, established in 2018, is an innovative medical device company incubated by the Bonde Artificial Heart Laboratory at Yale University. It focuses on developing globally innovative medical devices for patients with severe heart failure. Bonde Innovations, spun off from Yale University’s Bonde Artificial Heart Laboratory, is developing CoRISMA, an innovative, catheter-delivered circulatory assist device designed to treat patients with Class III and IV heart failure. With over $2 million in grants, CoRISMA aims to improve patients' quality of life while reducing the costs and invasiveness associated with current treatment methods. All components of these devices have been prototyped and tested at Yale.
