Basic Information
Indaptus Therapeutics has evolved from over a century of advancements in immunotherapy. The company's approach is based on the hypothesis that effective activation of both innate and adaptive immune cells, along with associated anti-tumor and antiviral immune responses, requires a multi-targeted immune system activation package that can be safely administered intravenously. Indaptus' patented technology consists of single-strain attenuated and inactivated non-pathogenic Gram-negative bacteria, which show reduced intravenous toxicity but largely unaffected ability to stimulate or activate many cellular components of both innate and adaptive immunity. This approach results in broad-spectrum anti-tumor and antiviral activity, including safe, durable synergistic anti-tumor responses with each of five different classes of existing drugs, such as checkpoint therapy, targeted antibody therapy, and low-dose chemotherapy in preclinical models. Tumor eradication using Indaptus technology has demonstrated activation of both innate and adaptive immune memory, importantly, without the need to provide or target tumor antigens in preclinical models. Indaptus has successfully completed GMP production of its lead clinical candidate, Decoy20, and is currently finalizing additional IND-enabling studies.
