Smartbox is a technology solutions company dedicated to creating assistive technology solutions to help people with disabilities. The company offers a range of hardware devices: three types of Grid Pads, which are communication aid tablets; eye-gaze cameras that allow users to navigate and control computers by tracking where they are looking; environmental control devices that enable users to remotely control modified household appliances (such as thermostats); and other assistive devices related to computer control.In addition, the company provides software: Grid versions 2 and 3, standard assistive communication software; Look to Learn, learning software for eye-gaze technology; Dwell Clicker 2, interface software for pointing devices and computers; Switch Driver 6, which replicates keyboard and mouse commands using switches; and Sensory Eye FX and Tobii Gaze Viewer, both of which assist with eye-gaze technology.
