Farm.One's vision is to use new vertical farming technologies to grow rare, interesting, and unusual products for chefs. We started with a small experimental farm at the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) in downtown Manhattan, serving a limited number of top-tier restaurants.At the time, vertical farming was still a wild idea—no one was quite sure if it would work! Four years later, this journey has led us to collaborate with outstanding chefs to produce some of the best food in the world. We built a larger farm in Tribeca, which also showed us the power of urban micro-farms, as well as the joy of educating and delighting visitors. Providing information, flavors, and community. We are now building more farms in New York and around the world.
