MAGNOSIS, established in 2019, is a company incubated by the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.The MAGNOSIS optically pumped magnetometer MEG system, as an emerging brain imaging technology, not only has the potential to significantly reduce the comprehensive usage cost of MEG from nearly ten thousand yuan per hour to thousands of yuan, thereby benefiting a large number of epilepsy patients and providing brain science research with a highly cost-effective tool, but also offers whole-brain high spatiotemporal precision electrophysiological diagnostic capabilities for patients suffering from pediatric developmental disorders, psychiatric illnesses, and neurodegenerative diseases.It is reported that MAGNOSIS has applied for and been granted multiple domestic and international patents in the fields of MEG and electrophysiological equipment. The company will successively complete the development and clinical trials of MEG products that meet the requirements for clinical medical devices, obtaining relevant international and domestic registration certifications. With the industrialization of MEG, a flagship electrophysiological device, as the driving force, the entire downstream industry chain related to neuro-electrophysiological diagnosis/treatment will be developed, which is expected to generate significant economic benefits and bring about notable social benefits.
