OcuTerra Therapeutics is developing a novel eye drop for the treatment of diabetic eye disease. Current standards of care do not prevent or control disease progression. Our initial therapeutic candidate, OTT166, is an eye drop containing a novel integrin inhibitor and is in clinical development to enable early intervention in diabetic retinopathy. Diabetic retinopathy is a chronic progressive disease and one of the leading causes of vision loss worldwide.
