Neurona Therapeutics is a preclinical-stage biotechnology company founded by four leading neuroscientists and stem cell pioneers from the University of California, San Francisco. Focused on discovering and developing cell-based therapies to treat refractory neurological disorders. Our initial goal is to generate therapeutic compositions of specific types of nerve cells (or neurons) for targeted delivery into damaged nervous systems. Based on nearly two decades of research, we believe that specific subpopulations of neurons possess a unique ability to integrate and repair dysregulated neural circuits.
