Vectron Biosolutions, established in 2008, is the result of over 15 years of research from Professor Svein Valla's research group in the Department of Biotechnology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. Professor Svein Valla is a world-leading expert in bacterial gene expression and vector technology, with more than 100 papers published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. His research has led to a new technology platform for the production of recombinant proteins, enabling higher levels of protein production at lower cost and with greater solubility.
