Trasir Therapeutics, Inc. was founded in 2014 as a biopharmaceutical company with its core technology being the proprietary peptide polymer platform OligoPhore, which can engage in rapid self-assembly with any type of RNA to achieve extrahepatic oligonucleotide delivery. OligoPhore enables the safe and effective systemic delivery of oligonucleotide payloads, efficient cellular uptake, and sufficient endosomal release. Importantly, OligoPhore has the ability to target extrahepatic tissues, creating potential for the development of RNA-based therapies for a wide range of unmet medical needs.
