PSMA Therapeutics, a subsidiary of Noria, is dedicated to advancing the Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA) platform for targeted therapies. It serves as a valuable molecular imaging target for detecting and targeting metastatic prostate cancer lesions. Prostate cancer cells express a protein called prostate-specific membrane antigen on their surface. By injecting a chemical specifically designed to bind to prostate-specific membrane antigen into the bloodstream, positron emission tomography can visualize prostate cancer cells, effectively imaging the Six-Transmembrane Epithelial Antigen of the Prostate (STEAP) in tumors and locating numerous lesions, significantly improving diagnostic accuracy.
