Bioscience Advisors, Inc. (Biosci) was founded in January 2011 as a consulting and database company focused on biopharmaceutical alliances. Since the mid-1980s, Biosci's founder Mark Edwards has been involved in negotiating and analyzing biopharmaceutical alliances. In May 2021, Biosci was acquired by Evaluate, a leading provider of commercial intelligence and forecasting analytics for pharmaceutical companies and their advisors.The BiosciDB transaction database combines the latest biopharmaceutical deal announcements and financial updates with unredacted and other SEC-filed alliance contracts, allowing for analysis and search by topic and contract terms. BiosciDB is widely used by the biopharmaceutical business development and licensing (BD&L) community and is often referred to as the "most in-depth" database available.
