HeartBeat.bio is a newly established drug discovery company focused on developing a high-throughput 3D screening platform for heart failure and cardiomyopathy. Our core technology is based on the world's first self-organizing cardiac organoids (Cardioids), which mimic the human physiology of the heart chambers and, to some extent, allow cost-effective and large-scale in vitro analysis of key clinical parameters associated with various heart diseases. The Cardioid-based screening platform has the potential to fundamentally transform the current paradigm of cardiovascular drug discovery, thereby increasing the success rate of clinical trials while reducing the cost and time of clinical trial development.
