Augmedics has developed an intelligent surgical system. Through ViZOR, surgeons can directly see the internal structure through the patient's skin and tissue, allowing for faster, simpler, and safer surgeries. This technology can be applied to many types of surgeries, with its first planned application being minimally invasive spinal surgery. ViZOR uses exclusive patented technology that projects a 3D image of the patient’s spine onto the surgeon’s retina in real time via an AR lens, while also providing surgical-grade precision and excellent depth perception. This technology reduces operation time, lowers radiation exposure, and eliminates unnecessary repeat surgeries.
