CDH Investments, established in 2002, is one of the most influential alternative asset management institutions in China. As of January 2020, the scale of managed funds reached 160 billion RMB. CDH Investments originated from the direct investment department of China International Capital Corporation (CICC) and was founded by six founders including Wu Shangzhi and Jiao Zhen, in collaboration with Singapore Government Investment Corporation, China Investment & Guaranty Co., Ltd., and Zurich Insurance Capital Group. CDH Investments started with private equity investment business, and the vigorous development of this business promoted the establishment of CDH's alternative asset management platform. The company has six major business segments: private equity investment, innovation and growth, securities investment, real estate investment, mezzanine investment, and wealth management.
