ASTA Corporation was founded in 2006 to develop a new generation of diagnostic systems that are more efficient compared to traditional diagnostic technologies, thereby overcoming various diseases.ASTA decided to utilize MALDI-TOF MS, which won the Nobel Prize for its significance in macromolecular analysis. We have determined that MALDI-TOF technology is a better candidate to replace conventional diagnostic technologies. Therefore, over the past decade, we have been involved in the research and development of such core technologies. With the support of the Korean government, we successfully developed and commercialized a next-generation diagnostic system and platform, sample plates, diagnostic software, and various other new products by 2014.IDSys is a next-generation diagnostic system based on MALDI-TOF. Its "Integrated Diagnostic System" combines digital technology related to disease databases with artificial intelligence software. It establishes various disease databases based on the standardization of different disease types and conditions, then diagnoses diseases by matching the database with test samples.
