Purisys provides extensive development, manufacturing, and support for production and personnel assets in pharmaceutical active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and other chemical synthesis projects. Purisys has decades of experience in the complex high-barrier custom synthetic chemistry and API manufacturing, as well as comprehensive expertise in controlled substances. The company’s development history dates back 40 years to its origins as a predecessor of Johnson & Johnson. In the early 2000s, Purisys primarily focused on the production of highly potent APIs. In 2016, the business was acquired by SK Capital and renamed Noramco. In 2019, Purisys was spun off from Noramco, leveraging and focusing on its strengths in clinical API development and manufacturing, synthetic cannabinoid production, and finished dosage forms.
