Ocean Ridge Biosciences (ORB) is a contract research laboratory located in South Florida that supports pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies worldwide through innovative RNA and protein biomarker discovery services. Headquartered in Deerfield Beach, Florida, near the geographic center of the rapidly growing South Florida life sciences cluster, ORB provides fundamental research, preclinical, and retrospective clinical trial services to hundreds of academic and corporate researchers.ORB focuses on providing bioassays and bioinformatics in five key areas: circulating small RNAs, exon characterization, microbiome RNA and DNA sequencing, multiplex immunoassays, and DNA polymorphism analysis. To this end, the company recently partnered with Boca Bio lists Clinical Reference Laboratory to study the use of multiplex immunoassays for auxiliary diagnostic discovery. This partnership has developed a validated 35-plex cytokine/chemokine immunoassay performed at the Boca Bio certified laboratory.In addition to commercial services, ORB continuously engages in and supports innovative biomedical research at major institutions. The company’s services have been cited in over 90 published scientific articles. ORB has initiated research collaborations with multiple academic institutions, focusing on biomarker discovery in disease areas such as neurodegeneration, cardiovascular disease, and emphysema.
