Nanoscope Therapeutics is advancing gene therapies using light-sensitive molecules and light-assisted gene delivery to restore vision for millions of blind individuals suffering from retinal degenerative diseases—conditions currently without a cure.Nanoscope focuses on proprietary ambient-light activated optogenetic therapies to restore vision in individuals with various inherited retinal degenerative diseases, including Retinitis Pigmentosa, Stargardt, and dry AMD. Inherited retinal degenerative diseases cause vision loss as retinal cells progressively dysfunction.
