CicaLux is a developer and manufacturer of combination therapy devices aimed at helping to prevent or improve pigmentation, hypertrophy (raised scars), and/or keloid scars caused by incision surgeries. In 2014, an international panel of experts concluded that silicone sheets are the "gold standard" treatment for preventing and managing hypertrophic scars and keloids, but should be used in conjunction with other treatment modalities to provide optimal outcomes for patients.
