Brooklyn ImmunoTherapeutics focuses on exploring the role of cytokine-based therapies in treating cancer patients, both as a single agent and in combination with other anti-cancer treatments. Through an option agreement with Factor Bioscience/Novellus, the company is also exploring opportunities to advance treatments using cutting-edge gene editing/cell therapy technologies. Brooklyn ImmunoTherapeutics' most advanced program is investigating the safety and efficacy of IRX-2 in patients with head and neck cancer. In a Phase 2A clinical trial for head and neck cancer, IRX-2 demonstrated an improvement in overall survival. Research on other solid tumor indications is ongoing or planned.
