Jeune, Inc. is a biotechnology company leveraging a clinically validated gene delivery platform to fundamentally address or reverse the biological issues of aging or photo-damaged skin.Jeune was founded in April 2019 by Krystal Biotech to advance a series of innovative treatments addressing aesthetic skin conditions. Our lead product candidates are based on Krystal’s skin-targeted delivery platform, or Star-D platform. This skin-optimized gene delivery technology enables us to specifically target key cells in the skin to deliver the desired effectors (genes). In doing so, our goal is to stimulate patients' own cells to produce essential structural proteins that typically decline with age (intrinsic aging) and photo-damage (extrinsic aging).
