Fisher Imaging will improve breast cancer screening and diagnosis by detecting missed cancers and reducing unnecessary treatments. Our company was founded in 2016 as the successor to Fischer Imaging Corp., which was the leading mammography equipment manufacturer in the United States until the early 2000s and pioneered stereotactic needle biopsy technology under digital mammography guidance. The company developed the first Full-Field Digital Mammography (FFDM) system and sold over $1 billion worth of x-ray systems to OEM partners.
