Setsuro Tech Inc. is a biotechnology startup established in 2017. The company's technological foundation lies in two genomic editing technologies: the GEEP method (high-throughput embryo genome editing) and the VIKING method (stable and flexible cultured cell genome editing). These two methods enable us to provide gene-edited animals and cells at a reasonable price and with a short delivery time. By promoting the development of genome editing technology, Setsuro Tech aims to cultivate the genome editing industry and enhance public welfare. The company has developed a high-throughput genome editing method for mammalian embryos, called GEEP (electroporation of Cas9 protein) genome editing. Using this method, the company can produce transgenic mice quickly and at low cost. Setsuro Tech is applying CRISPR/Cas9 technology to create genome-edited cell and animal models tailored to the needs of end users.
