Arrow Medical was established in 1989. Early success enabled Arrow Medical to quickly grow into a contract medical manufacturer specializing in the assembly of anesthesia equipment. A large international company selected Arrow Medical to manufacture high-volume garments used for the prevention of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT). This required specialized cutting and sewing operations, which have now matured and become a highly productive part of Arrow Medical’s operations. To remain competitive and demonstrate overall commitment to customers, Arrow Medical made significant investments in Radio Frequency (RF) welding. The commitment to quality and productivity has yielded more business returns, including components for pressure-relief mattresses used to alleviate bedsores. As Arrow Medical diversified into injection molding and compression molding for silicone and organic elastomers, its commitment to quality continued with further investment. This investment proceeded with the addition of a third cleanroom production facility for medical injection molding.
