SurgCenter Development is a company that collaborates with local surgeons to establish outpatient surgery centers (ASCs) that are physician-owned and physician-operated. We have cooperated to develop hundreds of successful and highly profitable surgery centers across the United States. We share the same per-share capital with other physician investors, allowing our physician partners to maintain a majority stake in their ASCs. We provide our industry expertise consulting or management services free of charge. SCD guides physicians through the critical stages of establishing an ASC, including the formation of the limited liability company, facility design and construction, licensing procedures, procurement of equipment and supplies, staff recruitment and training, as well as insurance contracts and settlements.
