It produces and develops a series of opto-mechatronic surgical microscopes suitable for various microsurgical procedures. The predecessor of the company was "Zhenjiang Optical Instrument Factory," which initially engaged in the production of military optical products. In 2000, it was restructured into the current stock company and gradually shifted to the production of civilian microscopes. The company independently developed the XTS series surgical microscope, LZL series surgical microscope, LZJ series surgical microscope, and XTY series microscope, covering orthopedics, hand surgery, burn and plastic surgery, ophthalmology, ENT, neurosurgery, gynecology, and dentistry. There are four major series with more than ten varieties, and its products are exported to many countries and regions.In 2000, the company passed the ISO9002 international quality system certification, and in 2005, it obtained the IS09001-2000 quality system certification, as well as the TUV's EU international quality CE certification. In 2005, it was awarded the title of High-tech Enterprise of Jiangsu Province, and in 2018, it received the National High-tech Enterprise designation.
